I think it important to for those affected to understand what rules, ordinances and regulations will absolutely change once annexed; which could change and which may not have to immediately change. I'd like to see the transition as smooth as possible for all residences and businesses.I hope certain or parcel specific issues can be grandfathered.

I agree with Arthur. So many people have invested money and time in Roseland small businesses that have become part of our community and part of our culture. We're proud of our inclusiveness and need to demonstrate we support those businesses that have chosen to locate (and stay) in Roseland.

Also agree, and maybe this is part of the first comment, but I feel that ensuring everyone understands what the costs (e.g. taxes), and benefits are with this transition is key.
