The City of Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks Department invites your input to help plan the design and development of Roseland Creek Community Park, to be located between McMinn and Burbank Avenues. The plan is formed by a progression of community input from 2010, 2015 and 2017, including the most recent engagement from the 9/16 meeting and online 9/18 - 9/29. It is available here for public viewing and input through December 17, 2017. Please click on the "Topics" button (below) to submit your comments.

On a global scale many countries have been implementing more public fitness into parks and I think we should do the same. Some of the public exercise equipment I've seen lately is nice but isn't actually effective, and therefore never even gets used very much. Things like pull-up bars, dip bars, stretching bars and circuit training exercise are highly effective, inexpensive, low maintenance and would be greatly appreciated and people would actually use them. Thank you

I attended the Dec. 2nd meeting. I believe the general feeling was to keep it simple and go slow, given the uncertainty of acquisition the middle section. The North section should have a simple porous path, with a few benches, a few interpretive signs, a few trash cans. And let us watch the oaks and wildlife flourish without your "improvements". The south section can have restroom, small parking, picnic tables and whatever other concrete things you feel compelled to install. Thank you.
