Less TV studio-oriented, more indie filmmaker-oriented. Small, portable, cool-to-the-touch lighting, Sound gear that sounds good but doesn't get overly complicated (which is a challenge, I know this). Handheld DSLRs or even point-and-shoot cameras that can do video at 30 and 24 frames a second. This is the meat-and-potatoes of filmmaking/videography.

Yes, I believe I answered this in the first question.

I have also taken four video production courses at the SRJC. two were field production courses, one a studio production class and another on film making. My computer at home has a iMovie editing program, as did the class in JC class in Petaluma. The SRJC class used Adobe Premiere.

I have done studio shoots in the past. You need a crew and a reason to do a studio shoot. I have helped other producers with their studio shoots and will be assisting Elaine again with a studio shoot shortly. The studio is a valuable resource as a professional studio. I think it is one of the most valuable spaces in the Media Center.
