NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Santa Rosa City Council will conduct City Council Special Meeting, beginning on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. utilizing a hybrid meeting platform. The meeting will be limited to the item on this agenda. No other business will be considered at this Special Meeting. DUE TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE GOVERNOR'S EXECUTIVE ORDERS N-25-20 AND N-29-20 WHICH SUSPEND CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS OF THE BROWN ACT, AND THE ORDERS OF THE HEALTH OFFICER OF THE COUNTY OF SONOMA TO TAKE ACTION TO MINIMIZE THE SPREAD OF COVID-19, THE CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS WILL BE PARTICIPATING VIA ZOOM WEBINAR OR IN-PERSON FROM COUNCIL CHAMBER. 2.1 INTERVIEWS FOR BOARD OF BUILDING REGULATIONS APPEAL The Council will interview applicants for the Board of Building Regulation Appeals to fill three of four vacancies on the board. Incumbents may serve a 4-year term expiring December 31, 2024, and new appointments will serve terms expiring December 31, 2022.

The Open Government Ordinance (ORD-2020-018) was adopted by City Council in December 2020. This ordinance, adds Chapter 1-10 to the City Code to codify the City of Santa Rosa's commitment to embrace a culture of open government to ensure public trust, engage the community, and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration.
